Amazon is preparing for Prime Day on July 16 (it starts at noon PST / 3 pm EST) by launching some offers on its best devices early.

To prepare, the online retailer is rolling out pre-Prime Day sales so that Prime members get excited about the big discounts offered on Monday. Therefore, from now until the end of Prime Day, Amazon is cutting $ 100 off the Echo Show.

Usually retail at $ 229.99, the Echo Show is essentially the immersive Amazon Echo video version. While it has the same functionality of Echo and Echo Dot with the voice badistant Alexa, the Echo Show adds a video screen for a more interactive experience.

So now you can watch video briefings and weather updates, movies and Amazon Prime TV shows, photos, song lyrics, shopping lists and more. You can even use it as a video monitor for security cameras and video calls. And since it's enabled for Alexa, it's all hands-free.

REVIEW: Amazon Echo Show will transform your relationship with Alexa

Save it in the kitchen or living room as the central center for your smart home. You can also keep it on a bedside table as an interactive video alarm clock to get instant weather and news updates as soon as you wake up. The possibilities are endless with Echo Show and Alexa.

The promotion is only valid for Prime members, so if you are not yet a member, you can register here and get a $ 100 discount on the Echo Show. Along with the free two-day shipping, you can also take advantage of all the savings on Prime Day. After the discount, the Echo Show is $ 129.99. Not bad!
