Get discounts with your vaccination card at these Milwaukee area businesses

Your COVID-19 vaccination card doesn’t just show that you are protected against the coronavirus. It can also lead to some nifty discounts at businesses in the area.

When you complete your vaccine doses, you are supposed to get a vaccination card.

Now, several businesses in our area are offering offers: show your card, get discounts or other benefits.

Black husky brewing
909 E Locust St, Milwaukee

This Milwaukee tavern is giving away a beer to those who show their vaccination cards.

“Prost at your dose! Show your COVID-19 vaccination record card and get a free beer courtesy of Black Husky!” the company posted on social media.

The Iron Horse Hotel
500 W Florida St, Milwaukee

Walker’s Point boutique hotel is now giving away a shot of liquor to customers who show their vaccine tag or card.

The hotel wrote on social media: “That’s right, we’re giving our vaccinated friends a shot by injection – show us the vaccine tag or card and we’ll give you a free shot at Branded.”

Premium spirits are excluded.

Krispy Kreme
2900 S 108th St, West Allis, all locations

As of Monday, March 22, Krispy Kreme says that customers who received at least one dose of Moderna or Pfizer vaccine, or Johnson & Johnson’s single-dose vaccine, are eligible for a free donut at all stores around the country.

All you need to bring to get your donut is a valid COVID-19 vaccination card.

The offer is offered for the rest of the year and is only valid in person, either at the drive-thru or in-store.

Shawarma House
2921 N Oakland Ave, Milwaukee
17385 W Bluemound Rd, Brookfield

Known for its Middle Eastern cuisine, Shawarma House is now offering a 15 percent discount on your order if you show your vaccination card. The restaurant started the offer when they announced that their staff was fully vaccinated against the coronavirus.

“We are happy and proud to share this great news with all of you and we strongly recommend that you also get vaccinated,” the company posted on social media.

Many places

Staples offers to laminate COVID-19 vaccination cards for free.

People who bring their US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention card in. After receiving their second dose, Staples will laminate free of charge.

Offer is valid at locations nationwide through April 3.

The offer is only available in the store and the coupon code is 81450.

MKE up-down
615 E Brady St, Milwaukee

The 21+ game bar, Up-Down MKE, encourages residents to get the COVID-19 vaccine by offering 20 free game tokens to those who show a completed vaccine card.

Offer starts Monday. Guests only need to show their completed vaccination card to the waiter or waiter to collect their tokens. The tokens can be used to play the various internal games in the game room.

Up-Down says that during the first three weeks of the program, tokens will be given to those with a vaccination card. After that, newly vaccinated guests can bring their card up to three weeks after their second dose.

The promotion will continue through the summer, “to reward everyone for taking this important step for community safety,” according to a statement from the game room.
