Several thousand million euros in rail transport.

The executive plans to invest 13.4 billion euros in the next five years, 40% more than in the last five years, and then again at 14.3 billion euros during the period 2023-2027. The priority ? The daily transport and above all … the train. 51% of the budget goes to the railway, an amount that adds to the 3.6 billion euros invested annually by SNCF.

Among the projects in which the government is committed: the Bordeaux-Toulouse high-speed line (LGV), the launch of a new line between Paris and Normandy (work started at the Saint-Lazare station at the end of the five-year period). years), a new line also between Roissy-Picardie, with a focus on regional trains, or the purchase of new trains and the renewal of lines on the Paris-Orléans-Limoges-Toulouse and Paris-Clermont axes.

The focus on vehicle sharing and cycling.

A "sustainable mobility package" up to 400 euros per month.

The state will propose for the year 2020 to its own agents, a package of up to 200 euros per year to encourage travel by car or bicycle. Private employers are invited to do the same and can benefit from it to finance 400 euros per year per employee in question (tax-free and social contributions).
