If you have been up to date with the weekly Fortnite challenges, you may notice that the whole of the 7th season, the 7th week, has a particular challenge that you will have done recently. The challenge in question implies visiting seven expedition outposts, which is something I had to do for Week 4 in early January. For those who have completed the Week 4 challenge, this should be child's play, but if you need help, we are here to help you. Here is how and where to find the outposts of the expedition, as well as what you have to do to complete the challenge.
The outposts of the expedition can be seen on the map as small red dots. In the game world there are small red bunkers with a globe icon surrounded by arrows. For the most part, they're surrounded by X-4 Stormwing aircraft, which are pretty easy to spot from on high, so see if you need markers. To make things easier, we have a list of bunker locations below, as well as a map to show your exact locations.
The bunker challenge of week 4 instructed the players to eliminate enemies in the bunker areas. However, for the Week 7 variant, all you have to do is find them and stay in the area for a second. When you do, you will see your progress to complete the progress of the challenge. The easiest way to do it is to jump out of the battle bus and land in a bunker, abandon the game and repeat until you are finished.
Expedition Outpost Locations
- Southeast of lazy links (F3)
- Northeast of Pleasant Park (D3)
- South Park of Pleasant (C4)
- West of Dusty Divot (F5)
- West of Lonely Lodge (I5)
- West of Paradise Palms
- South of Shifty Shafts (D8)
Once you have finished with this challenge and you have stayed with the battle stars, it will be for the others. We have a complete list of the challenges of season 7, week 7 of Fortnite, which should not be too difficult to complete. Do not forget that the update 7.20 of Fortnite brought back the reimplementation of the glider, so you can make good use of that to face the challenges, as long as you get a new element that enables it. Since one of the challenges also requires you to do damage, keep an eye out for the new weapon: the Range Revolver. That will be useful to deal great damage from a safe distance.
The new patch also announced the arrival of a mysterious ice-cold orb, which is floating above the polar peak. While it is not clear what exactly it is, what it does or will do, it is likely to be related to a major event that will soon arrive in the game. It could be part of season 8, which means you should try to finish the remaining challenges of season 7 before it's too late. You can use our complete Fortnite season 7 challenge guide to get help with the most difficult challenges of the previous weeks.
