SportsPulse: USA TODAY Sports & # 39; Steve DiMeglio discusses Tiger Woods' second-round performance in the Hero World Challenge.

What will you get from an encore?

Tiger Woods produced an electric Friday in the Hero World Challenge with a 68 of 4 under par that put him in the fight. Sometimes during the second round, he maintained the absolute advantage. Woods will look for more glory in his return on Saturday at Albany Golf Club.

Our Tiger Tracker will track his entire third round, shot by stroke. Keep up with all the following.

Hole # 8: Par 3, 203 yards

OFF THE TEE (2:22 p.m. ET): It. Holds. Pilotage. In. This looked good in the area, but falls short and sneaks into the lower area to the left of the green. The pin is left, so it is short sides. Another bogey could be imminent.

AROUND THE GREEN (2:26 p.m. ET): That's another chip that falls short of GREEN. Everything is falling apart. Ball is lucky not to get up again, as he climbs the hill and stays there. Even so, you will have 15 feet for the pair at least from the edge.

Hole No. 7: Par 4, 344 yards

OUT OF FIELD (2:10 pm ET): Tiger goes with the driver in this case and loses the right (since it has most of the day). But it is raw and will have an eagle launch. A little bird is still within reach, and he desperately needs one at this moment.

AROUND THE GREEN (2:15 p.m. ET): Tiger simply did not have anything there, as seen later. The ball was sitting and the green escapes. If he landed this on the green, it could have happened. As expected, it falls short. Your second release is even worse. Quite simple and it goes out 15 feet away. He will have that putt FOR PAR.

IN THE GREEN (2:17 p.m. ET): Tiger's effort … well, too much speed and pbades on the left. He actually has 3 feet for bogey, but he does it. Still, another shot down.

TIGER FOR THE DAY: 4 to 7 (T-12)

Hole No. 6: Par 5, 595 yards [19659008] OFF THE TEE (1: 55 pm ET): The driver has not been so good today. Tiger misses this in the right scrap sand. He has a good lie and that's the right lady. But we're guessing that it's going to lie there.

SECOND THROW (1:57 p.m. ET): In fact, he goes to bed. Tiger actually does it in the short rough, so it was not ideal.

THIRD SHOT (2:01 p.m. ET): Wow, Tiger is very bad. He was 113 yards in, and he goes 30 yards long in that. He's going to need a top-down devil just to keep the pair.

AROUND THE GREEN (2:04 pm ET): That was a hard hit and Tiger really hits this one on the green. You will have 25 feet from the edge for the pair.

IN THE GREEN (1:50 p.m. ET): No. Tiger runs that 4 feet by. He makes the comebacker, but that's another bogey.

TIGER IN THE DAY: 3 to 6 (T-11)

Hole n. ° 5: Par 3, 180 yards

OFF THE TEE (1:45 pm ET): The fights continue. Tiger hates this and with good reasons. Shake well and it is in the green bunker. You will have to work a little to avoid dropping another shot.

AROUND THE GREEN (1:48 p.m. ET): That was very good. This was a long spin in the wind, and Tiger flies about 8 feet below the hole and runs off about 5 feet. That went out for the pair.

IN THE GREEN (1:50 p.m. ET): Bury that. This is a good sign. Tiger is fighting, but he is fighting.

TIGER IN THE DAY: 2 out of 5 (11)

Hole n. ° 4: Par 4, 489 yards [19659008] OFF THE TEE (1:33 pm ET): It took us a while, but we can say that this is fine. It was right on the edge, but the ball bounces off the rough and catches the right edge of the street.

APROACH SHOT (1:37 pm ET): Today there is more wind and something is right next to Tiger at this moment. He takes iron 9 from 139 yards and makes a good contact, but that was the wrong club. The pin is left forward and the ball EARS some 50 beyond the hole. It reaches the edge of the center of the back and will have 60 feet for the little bird.

IN THE GREEN (1:39 p.m. ET): An excellent putt of lag. A game from left to right with a perfect speed that was a bit too much to the left and broke the hole. Get that within 6 inches and hit the pair.

TIGER IN THE DAY: 2 out of 4 (11)

Hole No. 3: Par 5, 572 yards

OUT OF THE TESTA ( 1:16 pm ET): Boom. Tiger takes a powerful trick on that and is perfectly on the fairway. That has to be more than 300 and he can go through this in two.

No. 3: Second time this week that Tiger covers a bunker in the wind that his fellow competitors (Stenson, Matsuyama) did not have. The speed is there, and he is happy to hit the drivers. #HeroWorldChallenge

APPROX. SHOT (1:20 p.m. ET): Tiger destroyed that, but it was too difficult. From 261 yards, take a street wood and air the green. Much missing and on the left side, with the pin on the back right. He will have a little green to work, but not a ton.

AROUND THE GREEN (1:25 p.m. ET): Oh no. Those chip problems can be back. Tiger was on the fairway, but there was rough right behind his ball and he cuts this short off the green. Not well. Your second chip is much simpler and I take it to about 3 feet.

IN THE GREEN (1:29 p.m. ET): And Tiger fails! That one did not even hit the hole, it fails to the right and it's two feet away. He cleans for bogey, but this is a horrible start. Remember, also bogeyed after a perfect boost.

TIGER IN THE DAY: 2 more up to 3 (T-12)

Hole # 2: Par 3, 187 Yards

OUT FROM THE FIELD (1:08 pm Eastern Time): A solid return from Tiger. He hits this safely, about 18 feet from the flag. That will be a solid birdie look. The last thing I needed was another bogey, so this was a good bouncing shot.

IN THE GREEN (1:12 p.m. ET): Good effort. Tiger does a good run in the putt, but he simply slides to the left. Great speed, however, and was inches from falling. A good easy pair to calm nerves.

TIGER IN THE DAY: 1 more up to 2 (T-10)

HOLE No. 1: Par 4, 423 Yards

OFF THE TEE (12:55 pm ET): It's not the best. That was a deadly impulse. It looks like it ended up in the sand in the waste area on the left. Soon we will know. It is definitely not on the fairway.

APPROACH SHOT (12:59 p.m. ET): Actually he came out with a good lie. It turned out that there was a rock underneath but Tiger comes out well. His ball ends short of the green. You will have to fight, but an up and down here does not seem too difficult.

AROUND THE GREEN (1:02 p.m. ET): Not the best. These greens are fast and Tiger's chip runs about 10 feet beyond the cup. He has that left for the couple.

IN THE GREEN (1:05 p.m ET): Yikes. Tiger executed his first putt 4 feet away. He does the comebacker, but had to work alone to open with bogey. Rough start.

Prior to the round

Tiger is on the premises. Get ready!

Hugs of good luck.
