The Google Pixel 4a may be significantly delayed for obvious and understandable reasons, but it has been well received across the board – especially predictive pricing. While the most popular third-party ROM as Lineage 17.1 is constantly adding support for previous Pixel devices including 2, 3, 3a, and Pixel 4, there is no support (yet) for this latest device.
If you want a custom ROM fix for Pixel 4a, you’ll be pleased to hear that the Resurrection remix is now available to download and install (via) Xda developers). Resurrection Remix is based on AOSP and comes with a small taste of many custom ROM projects and with some customization options added to the existing you will not find on the Pixel 4A’s stock ROM only.As XDA Notes, you can now get Resurgence Remix version 8, which leverages some really neat accessibility features and UI elements for a fresh experience that is very different from what is already there. It is also based on Android 10, meaning that you are not offering any features you already have as part of your Pixel 4A.
To install this cool custom ROM on your Pixel 4a, there is a dedicated thread confirming all new changes and features as well as installation instructions. With that said, we should warn you that this is only possible for technically minded tech fans. We cannot recommend that the average person installs a custom ROM on their device.
