The first Corvette ZR1 will be auctioned next month
The auction will benefit the Stephen Siller Tunnel of Towers Foundation and its Building for America & Braves program. The car is the fastest and most powerful production Corvette ever made, according to the company.
General Motors and Chevrolet announced on November 30 that the first retail production of the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 2019 will be auctioned on January 20, 2018 in Barrett. Jackson in Scottsdale, Arizona, to benefit the Towers Foundation's Stephen Siller Tunnel and its Building for America & Braves program. The car is the fastest and most powerful production ever made by Corvette, according to the company.
The foundation is named after New York City firefighter Stephen Siller, who died while responding to the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Central Towers The foundation builds smart homes without mortgage for service members with catastrophic injuries, with houses with automatic doors and lighting; wider rooms and entrances; showers that accommodate wheelchairs; automatic door openers; cabinets, countertops and countertops that can be raised and lowered; backup generators; and central heating and air conditioning systems that can be controlled with tablets.
