File new cases in Douglas County, one death in Lancaster County

(WOWT) – Here is a summary of new cases and other COVID-19 figures reported today by health officials in Nebraska and Iowa.

The Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department today reported one death in its area and 183 new cases of COVID-19.

The deceased was a man in his 80s. The death toll in Lancaster County is now 58.

The total number of cases in the community is now 12,467.

The Douglas County Health Department reported three deaths and 785 new cases on Saturday – a new daily record – bringing the community to 30,153 cases.

Recent deaths include a woman over 80 years of age and two men. The number of COVID-19 deaths in Douglas County is now 270.

The most recent report of recovery is 17,077.
