Fantasy Football Week 15 quarterback preview: streamers, DFS plays, projections and more

You might think that with most leagues for the Final Four, the streamer would be much less needed. Considering that I started winning Mitchell Trubisky, Philip River and Jalan Hurts last week, I disagreed. The need is only due to Matthew Stafford’s injury and the recent bad form of Ben Roethlisberger and Matt Ryan. If Drew Trees is able to come back and unseat Tessem Hill, we can form another team looking for a starter. Thankfully there are two very good streamers available: Trubisky and Hurts.

Hurts is the consensus top streaming option, and it’s not hard to see why. He ran for just 106 yards against the Saints of all teams, and we didn’t see him pass as often as Trubisky. But we did not see that either.

Trubisky has scored 30 fantasy points twice this year and has done it five times in 2018 and jointly in 2019. Trubisky has regularly shown the Top-12 upside down, which is close to 25 imaginary points in today’s NFL. He has scored 24 or more in seven of his last 16 complete games. This is something we have not seen just from Hurts.

It is worth noting my use of the “full game” in the previous paragraph. Trubisky’s floor may be lower than Hurts, due to Matt Neggie’s pencant for benching. Again it is difficult to say what the floor of Hurts is, or what Dent Pedersen would have to do to go to Wentz again. With uncertain floors for both quarterbacks, I will go to Week 15 with Trubisky as their top streamer.
