What it must have felt like,” she said. While the relationship was “catalytic”, she “needed” Tommy to get out of control and stay in touch, along with her sexuality, it was not final. “It soon became clear that we were not made for a long time,” she said, adding, “It’s tough for two stars” to describe this work and a big difference between athletes and artists like ourselves. She also said that “it was difficult to live each other’s fantasies.” “He was in the right place at the right time, and he was there for the right purpose,” she said. “DJ was the love in my life, not my life.” “The Meaning of Mariah Carey” is out now.
