Eva Mendes spoke on social media about her daughter being ‘too many phones’.


She has been almost silent on Instagram in the last one month.

And Eva Mendes revealed on Saturday that after her social media absence her young daughters were disappointed at how much attention she was paying to her phone.

The 46-year-old actress was inspired to encourage parents after sharing a post to call their children outside.

Eva reposted a tweet from the @latinxparenting account on how to deal with ‘disrespect’ to children.

‘Call your children out. This is not disrespect. It’s healthy, ‘it began.

‘Children can be so strongly associated with their value that they will not take less than the respect they deserve. They will not take BS. Not even to you, ‘the post continued.

‘Congratulations, you are raising a strong child.’

In her caption, Eva revealed: ‘I haven’t posted recently because my younger one told me that I was on the phone too much.

His last came in a series of Instagram posts on December 17, when he cut an iconic record cover of opera singer Maria Callus to snap a photo of himself.

In October, Eva joked to the Sydney Morning Herald that sometimes in quarantine ‘it feels like we’re running some kind of bed and breakfast with very drunk and aggressive guests’.

‘We really feel like we’re working in a hotel, and the guests are angry and asking for the boss and the food they bring. And until they fall asleep, we just stop cleaning and talk about how they have treated us that day! ‘

The Hitch star has been out of the headlines in recent years as she focused on raising her daughters Esmeralda, six, and four-year-old Amada, whom she shares with her husband Ryan Gosling, 40.

The pair met in 2011 on the set of their film The Place Beyond the Pines, starring Ryan and Bradley Cooper in lead roles and were released the following year.

The actors and lovers launched an artistic collaboration when she appeared in Lost River under the direction of Ryan as cabaret performer Kat, who performs a gory act for her clients.

The experimental and severely divisive film was a commercial flop, and also marked Eva’s last film as she stepped away from Hollywood to raise her children.

The actress has repeatedly talked about the possibility of returning to the screen in recent years.

She told HuffPost Australia in October that Disney films could only be something she could act on because she didn’t want to be involved in violence or anything that would ’embarrass’ her children.
