Two Splinter Cell games join compatibility with previous versions of Xbox One today

Two other games have been added to Microsoft's growing library of titles compatible with previous versions of Xbox One both from Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell franchise by Ubisoft.

The first game is Splinter Cell: Double Agent, which was released for the Xbox 360 in 2006 and was the first title in the series to be released for that generation of consoles. The second game is Splinter Cell: Blacklist, launched in 2013, and is currently the last installment of the franchise.

Both titles of Xbox 360 are now available to play on Xbox One, as long as players remain owners of the original discs to put them. in the system or have bought it through the digital market. If you already have it digitally, the games will automatically appear in the My Games menu library and applications that will be installed.

Ubisoft has not done much with Splinter Cell since its sixth game, Blacklist, released in 2013 until this year. The protagonist of the series, Sam Fisher, appeared on a special cross-mission for another Ubisoft title, Ghost Recon Wildlands, as part of a free add-on last April. Meanwhile, 2010's Splinter Cell: Conviction recently appeared as an Xbox Games With Gold game this month, allowing Xbox Live Gold members to download the game for free from July 16 to July 31.
