Week 2 Start ‘Em: Tight Ends
Hunter Henry in Chief
Henry was a solid opener for fantasy fans, scoring five of his eight goals for 73 yards in a win over Bingles. He finished second in the Chargers receivers in the Snappers behind Keenan Allen and his eight goals tied Allen for second place as well. He should be in your starting lineup against the Chiefs, as Henry scored 14-plus fantasy points in both of his 2019 matches. Game scripts can also charge (+8.5) throwing a ton.
Jared Cook on Raiders
Cook produced five catches for 80 yards in the Saints’ opener, and he now had at least 84 yards of rushing or one touchdown in six of the last seven games. The Giants could also see more opportunities in a passing attack with Michael Thomas at less than 100 percent. Cook has had a fantastic matchup against the Raiders in a revenge game in a contest that has a total of 50.5 overs / under based on the DraftKings sportsbook.
Tyler Higbee in Eagle
In his 2020 debut Higby did not do much, scoring just seven points despite a positive match against the Cowboys. He played 65 snaps in the competition, far more than Gerald Everett (24), so he is the top tight end in Los Angeles (if there were any questions). I would roll with him against another NFL East team, the Eagles, who allowed Logan Thomas a touchdown and 13.7 fantasy points in his season-opening game.
Hayden Hurst in Cowboys
Hurst did not do well in his debut with the Falcons, catching three of five targets for 38 yards. He was also the clear fourth option in the passing game, as did Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley, and Russell Gagee all with nine catches and 100-plus yards. Nonetheless, they have a good upcoming matchup against a Cowboys team that allowed the third-most points to tame last season and just lost LB Leighton Vander Ash from an injured collarbone.

Week 2 Sit Them: Tight Ends
Sitting of the week
Rob Gronkowski vs Panthers
Gronkowski was quiet in his first NFL game since 2018, two of three goals for 11 yards. When he led all Bucus tight ends in snacks (54), OJ Howard had more goals (6) and scored on one of Tom Brady’s two touchdowns. This week’s matchup versus the Panthers isn’t great either, as they averaged the fourth-lowest points against them last season. His defense held Darren Waller to just 45 yards in Week 1.

Jack Doyle vs Vikings
Doyle had just four goals for the Colts in his opener, as Phillip River saw his wide receivers and runners consistently at a higher rate. Rivers patted their backs on 44 percent of their pass attempts. So while Doyle played 54 snaps, he was not much involved in the passing attack. He has a tough matchup against the Vikings, who averaged 10.3 imaginary points per contest to resist tight ends a season ago.
Mike Gesiky vs Bill
Last week he was listed as a sit, with Geski having just three catches for 30 yards in a loss to Patrick. He will also struggle to produce a good line up this week, as the Dolphins host a Bills defense that allowed the second-lowest points tally last season and gave Chris Yard 37 yards last week Held on. Gesicki has also had trouble against the Buffalo in his career, scoring 8.1 career points or three career matchups against an AFC East foe.
Jimmy Graham vs Giants
Graham scored a touchdown and was targeted seven times by Mitchell Trubisky last weekend, and his 11.5 fantasy points were better than George Kabate and Darren Waller. Still, I think if you think you are chasing that performance, he will repeat that performance, even against the Giants. Their defense was in the middle of the pack compared to last season, and the G-Men caught Eric Ebron with just one catch from 18 yards in their season opener.
