Elon Musk's child sub was not able to save the children trapped in a cave in Thailand, they are safe and sound, but now the enterprising Tesla, SpaceX and Boring Company are in another situation humanitarian mission.

Musk tweeted on Wednesday that will personally fund the fixation of the notorious water in Flint, Michigan for any house that has water contamination above FDA levels, telling CNET and its supporters that it will organize a weekend in Flint to add filters to homes that still have problems.

Now, you might ask: Does Flint have no clean water now, or at least water below FDA levels? There were reports that Flint water generally fell below the level of lead contamination of the FDA in January 2017, and a sample of 92 households suggested that they were well below that level in April.

I asked Musk that exact question.

Musk invites to Flint, Michigan residents with homes that still have dangerously high levels of lead to respond to their first tweet (the one embedded at the top of this post) until they can finish Create an email address from flint@x.com. He thinks that the email will be ready tomorrow.

Here is a Politifact article that delves into the nuances of whether Flint's water is really safe today, in case you, like me, remember a viral video where comedian Michelle Wolf dropped the White House Correspondents Dinner with the words: "Flint still does not have clean water".
