Wolf Van Halen on Tuesday paid a tribute to his late father Eddie, which would be Rocker’s 66th birthday.
“Happy 66th Birthday, Pop,” Wolf’s prefecture Hardik tweeted. “I wish I could hug you the biggest and celebrate it with you. I love you and miss you so much, it hurts so much. I don’t even know how to put it into words.”
The 29-year-old Wolf said, “I’m trying my best to hold it together, but gee ——- it’s really hard without you.”

Two tweets were made, along with two 1994 home videos. The first video shows Eddie capturing Wolf very easily in his oversized T-shirt, while the second video featured “Wolfie and Daddy” hanging out on Christmas Eve.

Eddie Van Helen, best known for his innovative tapping, virtuous guitar technique and impeccable clipping in Van Helen, died in October at the age of 65.
Van Halen told Billboard magazine in 2015 that a third of his tongue had been removed due to cancer that had also spread to his esophagus.
