SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) – Authorities say a man was arrested after using a drone to drop anti-media leaflets on the crowds at NFL games in Santa Clara and Oakland and that federal, state officials and locals are investigating.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports that the unidentified suspect on Sunday sent his drone to Levi & # 39; s Stadium in Santa Clara during the second quarter of the game between the 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks. He later rode it over the Oakland Coliseum during the Raiders game against the Denver Broncos.

Santa Clara police Lt. Dan Moreno says the brochures spoke about freedom of expression and his belief that television stations are corrupt.

Most of the unmanned flyers dropped leaflets were blown away by the wind, landing far from football.

It is illegal to fly an unmanned airplane within five miles of an airport, and both the Levi & # 39; s Stadium and the Colosseum are five miles from the airports.
