Chatham’s lawyers say his name was removed after the first withdrawal, meaning he had no legal access to the money.

DailyMail.com has contacted Young’s lawyers for comment.

Dr. Dre and his legal team sent communications to Young and his team last month seeking to put the money back into the account or face legal action.

Young’s lawyer Brian Freedman called the move ‘an obvious attempt to smear Nicole’s name’, telling TMZ that he was authorized to withdraw cash after the marital split.

‘As people are well aware, banks do not give money to those who are not authorized to receive it,’ Freedman told the outlet.

He previously told TMZ about the initial transaction by Drs. Dre’s complaints were intended as a ‘stunt’ aimed at distracting attention from the divorce details.

He added, “This is a low-grade PR stunt by Andre and his team, sued for trying to change the fact that he was caught red-handed and trying to get Nicole out of community property, To which he is entitled. ”
