ELIZABETH CITY, NC – A North Carolina man who made headlines when he was caught by a break-ins after winning a donut-eating contest has been arrested again. And this time they accuse him of stealing in a donut shop.
The Virginian-Pilot newspaper reports that Bradley Hardison, 27, of Elizabeth City, was charged Thursday with stealing from Dunkin & Donuts in November.
A City of Elizabeth The statement from the Police Department says he is charged with felonies, including burglary and burglary. It was not clear if he served donuts.
A Hardison phone rang disconnected.
The Virginian-Pilot reported that, in 2014, Hardison won a donut contest hired by Elizabeth City police while searching for him under suspicion of several raids. Investigators said they arrested Hardison after his triumph provoked greater scrutiny, and he was convicted, according to the newspaper.
