Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager and Angels left fielder Justin Upton every received a Silver Slugger award on Thursday.
The award honors the perfect offensive participant at every place, as voted by managers and coaches in every league.
Seager received the National League Silver Slugger award for the second time in two seasons because the Dodgers’ shortstop. He batted .295 with 22 house runs.
Seager hit 26 house runs final 12 months. In the 134-year historical past of the franchise, just one different shortstop has hit 20 house runs: Glenn Wright in 1930.
Upton received his third Silver Slugger award. He hit .273 with 35 house runs, together with seven in 27 video games after the Angels acquired him from the Detroit Tigers on Aug. 31.
