Dharmendra mourns the defeat of his co-star and veteran actress Kumkum; ‘I am very sad’. Hindi movie news

Legendary Bollywood actress Kumkum died on 28 July. Popularly known for films like ‘Mother India’ and ‘Naya Dil’, she was 86 years old.

The news of his sad demise was shared by the late actor Jagdeep’s son Naved Jaffrey on his Twitter. He wrote, “We have lost another gem. I have known him since I was a child and he was a family, a brilliant artist and a brilliant human being, innalillahe wa innailaihe raajeoon. Rest in Shanti Kumkum aunty ”

Now veteran actor Dharmendra has also taken to his Twitter handle and mourns the loss of his co-star. Sharing a video of his film, he wrote, “Friends …. Kum Kum …. My film Zindagi’s life started with Chattisi Gudiya …. She …. Hmmmme From the heart of Hmmmesa. Chhod kar chali gai ….. I am very sad …. Pray in peace to his soul ….. ”

Earlier, singer Lata Mangeshkar took to Twitter to express her grief and wished the actor’s departed soul peace. He wrote, “Mujhe Abhi Pala Chala’s well-known actress Kumkum ji has its countryside. Mujhe tu listened very much. Allah Unno Nannat Naseeb Karin.”

The late actress has acted in more than 100 films and has captured the screen by appearing in hit songs including ‘Mere Mehboob Qayamat Hoge’.
