Remember that dramatic retailing Bel – Air’s new prince We all saw it through social media for the first time? It went super viral – so viral, in fact, that Will Smith completely paid attention to it and gave his support to the filmmaker.

According to The Hollywood Reporter Will Smith and the filmmaker of the trailer will be Morgan Cooper Favorable Viral sensation throughout theatrical reboot of the popular sitcom that ran from 1990–1996!

Bel air Described as a theatrical drama on the 90s comedy, Smith was catapulted to stardom over six seasons, starring as the street-smart kid who moved from West Philly to Tony’s Los Angeles neighborhood I went With a renaissance vision, Bel-Air will dive deep into the struggles, emotions and prejudices inherent in being a black man in America today, while still distributing swagger and fun nuggets to the original show.

Sources tell Hollywood Reporter that the new Bel air The four-minute clip went viral for more than a year after it was posted in March 2019 and caught Smith’s attention. Cooper, a Fresh Prince superfan, created and directed the trailer, which rejuvenated the series as if it were a play. He will co-write the script, direct and be credited as a co-EP.

The caption of the 2019 trailer literally includes a fictionalized fantasy, “What if Will Smith made it the fresh Prince today? Bel air, The story of a filmy child whose life turned upside down … in 2019. “What will happen, really? Well, it’s 2020 more anything It is possible.

“The dramatic version of these ideas means you can use existing storylines,” Smith commented about the trailer starring Jerry Madison Jr. when it debuted. “But, it doesn’t look like you’re resuming an episode because the story is brand new from a dramatic standpoint.”

Smith will serve as producer alongside original series producers Quincy Jones and Benny Medina. Producers Andy and Susan Borowitz Executive Producers and Chris Collins (Wire) Will be the listener and executive producer, and will co-write the script with Cooper. As for this in-development project, THR sources say that Peacock, Netflix and HBO Max are already involved in the bidding process. HBO Max already has Original episode Of Bel – Air’s new prince, So grabbing it will make the whole package. But, this is business, so eventually the best offer will win!

The concept trailer was very entertaining, though I’d be interested to see if it would work in a longer form. I see how they pull it off!
