A critical game for the opportunities of the two teams takes place today at the M & T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, as the Detroit Lions (6 -5) visit the Baltimore Ravens (6-5).

Third quarter

2:43 p.m.: The Lions begin the offense with a touchback.

Second Quarter

2:29 p.m.: Justin Tucker's 46-yard field goal gives the Ravens a 20-point lead at the end of the first half. Wallace defeats Nevin Lawson on an internal route to 28. RAVENS 20, LIONS 0

2:26 p.m.: The Lions lose a yard in the first two downs. In the third and 11 with 28 seconds remaining, the Ravens use their second time-out. Stafford fights for 1 yard to 12 and with 22 seconds left. The Ravens place the punt at Detroit 45.

2:23 p.m.: The Ravens can not get past their 35 and punt. The Lions take charge of their 13 with 1:02 remaining.

2:17 pm: The Ravens avoid triple and ejected with a bullet in the middle against Maclin for a 17-yard gain against Detroit 48 in the 2-minute warning.

2:14 p. m.: The Sam Martin low ball is sent by Michael Campanaro and lost when Don Carey releases it. But the Ravens recover and take over from their 30 with 3:56 to play.

2:11 p.m.: The Lions get a first attempt on a 9-yard pbad for Tate. In the third and 8 of his 38, Stafford is fired.

2:07 pm: After a touchback, the Lions start at 25.

2:06 pm: Too easy for Flacco on a three-yard pbad to fullback Ricard with 6: 54 to be played. In second and 1, a deep pbad to Wallace is ruled incomplete while being guarded by Darius Slay. After a challenge from John Harbaugh, the ruling changes and the Ravens receive the ball and a first attempt at Detroit 13. Great late draw for Buck Allen, who makes a good reading and gets 9 yards for the 4. RAVENS 17 , LIONS 0

1:57 pm: Jimmy Smith sniffs a screen at Tate and drops it by 1 yard loss. The Lions continue with one run in second and 11 that get 4 yards. In the third and 7 from the 41, Eric Weddle attacks without touching and crushes not only Stafford but also Rick Wagner, the former Raven who is involved in the play. The Ravens recover and take control in the Detroit 35 when they were 9:42.

1:53 p.m.: The Lions start at 25.

1:51 p.m.: The Ravens score in two plays. Flacco's pbad from 1 to Watson gives the Ravens a 10-0 lead with 11:52 left. Mike Wallace defeats Glover Quin one by one on the first play for a 66-yard pbad to Detroit 1. CROWD 10, LIONS 0

1:47 pm: Matt Prater's Knuckleball from 43 yards is left wide with 12:50 left. Stafford nearly threw an interception in the end zone in search of Marvin Jones.

1:41 p.m.: Collins' two runs give the Ravens a first try and a break. But the Ravens kicked after their next series of downs and cleared from their 21. After a punt and a short return by TJ Jones, the Lions took over from their 36 with 14:41 remaining.

First quarter

1:32 pm: Play-action in a short pbad to Theo Riddick goes for 27 yards to Baltimore 48 on the first play. In third and 2, Darren Fells catches an 8-yard pbad to 33. In the third and 8 of 31, Stafford can not handle the complement and loses 10 yards, retreating to 41 and taking the Lions. outside the field goal range. After a big punt, the Lions drop the ball in Baltimore 5 with 1:50 remaining.

1:27 pm: Zach Zenner picks up a short kick but manages to return it to 25 with 5:49 left.

1:23 pm: The field goal contest begins. The Ravens take a 3-0 lead on Justin Tucker's 38-yard field goal with 5:57 left. Marty Mornhinweg's play is already being criticized when he says that Alex Collins runs for 8 yards on the first attempt, followed by a slow sweep of minus-4 yards on the next play for Chris Moore. The pbades to Maclin and Nick Boyle score 21 yards on the next two plays against the Detroit 23. In third and 7, Flacco basically throws the ball away when the coverage is too tight. RAVENS 3, LIONS 0

1:16 p.m.: In the third and 7 of his 6, Matthew Stafford takes advantage of the lack of communication from the Ravens' secondary and finds Eric Ebron for 11 yards. In the next series, Golden Tate pbades an easy pbad in third and 6 from his 21. The divestment of Sam Martin is denied by the last blow of Paul Worrilow with 9:46. That gives the Ravens the ball at Detroit 48.

1:08 pm: Quandre Diggs bites hard in the action game and Joe Flacco hits tight end Ben Watson at an 18-yard cross into the Detroit 47. In the third and 9, Jeremy Maclin has a good pbad between his fingers. A big kick from Sam Koch nails the Lions in their 3 with 12:36 remaining.

1:03 p.m.: Lions win by throwing coins and postponing. The Ravens will start to get offended from their 25th after a touchback.
