BILLINGS, Mont. – A Delta flight from New York City to Seattle had to stop at Billings after the plane's toilets stopped working and the passengers could not hold it anymore.
The Billings Gazette reports that the direct flight was diverted hundreds of miles south on Saturday to stop the emergency bath.
Delta says that when landing at Billings, the plane had to take a taxi to a cargo area because there was not a door available. Delta says that ground crews rolled a ladder to the plane so passengers could "disembark to find relief from accumulated pressures."
A flight from New York City to Seattle can take around six hours.
