The height of the hippie Hollywood is in full swing in the official trailer of "Once Upon a Time in Quentin" by Quentin Tarantino.
Sony released the new video before the premiere of the film at the Cannes Film Festival. The ninth feature of Tarantino is starring Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio and Margot Robbie.
The premise of "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" has remained mostly secret, although Tarantino says it is set in the late 1960s in the context of the Manson family murders. DiCaprio plays the star of television, Rick Dalton, while Pitt plays his double trick Cliff Booth. Things look bleak for Rick, that is, until he meets his neighbor, Sharon Tate (Robbie). It is not clear if Tarantino's story will deviate from the story, which developed with Tate, who was pregnant at the time, murdered by the followers of Manson at his home in 1969.
The film also stars Emile Hirsch, Al Pacino, Dakota Fanning and Kurt Russell. Tarantino has won three Oscars and two victories among his work in "Pulp Fiction", "Inglourious Basterds" and "Django Unchained".
"Once upon a time in Hollywood" hits theaters on July 26, approximately two months after its Cannes debut and 50 years after the infamous Manson-LaBianca murders.
