BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — The neighbor of U.S. Sen. Rand Paul accused of badaulting the Kentucky Republican whereas he was mowing his garden is scheduled to look in courtroom.
Rene Boucher is charged with misdemeanor fourth-degree badault. His arraignment is about for Thursday in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Paul wrote on Twitter Wednesday that he suffered six damaged ribs and a pleural effusion, which is extra fluid across the lungs. The accidents have sidelined Paul from the Senate as he recovers at his residence.
The ongoing thriller is what led to the badault. Boucher’s legal professional has known as it “a very regrettable dispute” that was “trivial.”
Paul and Boucher have been neighbors for 17 years in a gated neighborhood.
A Paul good friend says the senator was tackled from behind and slammed to the bottom Friday.
