The rock band Aterciopelados and the Bogota Philharmonic Orchestra (OFB) will hold two concerts to celebrate Bogotá's birthday.
The first presentation will be made at the Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo on August 5. And the second concert will be in the Simón Bolívar Park; the entrance to the latter will be totally free.
Andrea Echeverri and Héctor Buitrago will perform 'Florecita rockera', 'Bolero falaz' 'El case' and some of the new songs from their most recent album, 'Claroscura'.
It is the first time that Aterciopelados makes a philharmonic version of their hits.
This would be the reunion of the Philharmonic Orchestra and the band after the release of the album 'Mestizajes' (2009), that included the song 'Maligno' '

In the previous editions of Bogotá's birthday, the Philharmonic Orchestra has received mbadive public attendance thanks to the accompaniment of other artists such as Manuel Medrano (2017), the Petit Fellas (2016), Puerto Candelaria (2015) ) and María Mulata, Yolanda Rayo and Juancho Torres (2014).
