The college football training carousel has been spinning at a record pace in late 2017, as many traditional powerhouses across the country have fired and hired new coaches and made their mark throughout the sport.
Here's a look at who was fired and who has been hired in an unpredictable off-season.

DOGS OF OREGON
WHO OUT: Willie Taggart . After a 7-5 season in Eugene, Taggart took his talent to Tallahassee, leaving the Ducks on a coaching quest for the second consecutive December.
WHO IS AT: offensive coordinator and offensive line coach Mario Cristobal will serve as interim coach of the Ducks for the Las Vegas Bowl and is a popular choice among current players and recruits for the Head coach position, while other names floated are defensive coordinator Jim Leavitt, Cal's head coach and former UO defensive back Justin Wilcox, as well as former Texas A & M coach Kevin Sumlin.

WHO IS OUT: Butch Jones . Jones' time in Tennessee came to an end after almost five full seasons in Knoxville, with a 50-17 loss to Missouri as the final blow. The former head coach of Central Michigan and Cincinnati posted an overall record of 34-27 with the Vols, who were only 3-9 in their last 12 SEC games since last season.
WHO IS AT: The Vols were close to an agreement with Ohio State defensive coordinator Greg Schiano, but the school reversed the course in the middle of the fan reaction and struck out with the coach Oklahoma State Mike Gundy, Purdue coach Jeff Brohm Dave Doeren, NC State, and David Cutcliffe, Duke, which led to the dismissal of AD John Currie and replaced him with former coach Phillip Fulmer while the search continues.

FLORIDA STATE SEMINOLS
WHO'S OUT: Jimbo Fisher . Fisher screwed the Sunshine State for greener pastures ($$$) at College Station, accepting a deal for 10 years and $ 75 million to become the head coach of Texas A & M.
WHO IS IN : Willie Taggart . Less than 365 days after leaving South Florida to train the Oregon Ducks, Taggart returned to his native Florida to take over the job of his dreams in Tallahassee.

WHO & # 39; S OUT: Bret Bielema . Arkansas fired Bielema after five seasons as head coach of Razorbacks, just a week after the school split from AD Jeff Long. Bielema produced a record of 29-35 (11-29 against the SEC's competition), including a 4-8 mark (1-7 SEC) in 2017.
WHO IS AT: Chad Morris . The Razorbacks are bringing Morris from SMU for six years, $ 21 million, on ESPN. Morris went 2-10, 5-7, 7-5 in three seasons directing the Mustangs.
