Designer Christian Siriano ended New York Fashion Week with pomp on Thursday.
To be more precise, it was Canadian model Coco Rocha, who clapped at her behest, as she hosted a runway show at the grounds of her Connecticut estate, complete with wooden runways above her swimming pool.

Siriano, 34, told the outlet that it was the most expensive fashion show ever, in which he revealed that Sex and the City star-turned-footwear designer Sarah Jessica Parker supplied shoes for the show.
The designer purchased his Westport, Connecticut estate in January, and his 6,000-square-foot mansion is surrounded by lush timber grounds.
He explained to WWD that he was inspired by the Dead of the 1991 Christina Applegate movie Don’t Tell the Mom the Babysitter to hold a runway show at his home.
“Finally, they have this fashion show at their house and they make a bridge over the pool,” said Siriano. ‘I just love that movie. It made me want to become a fashion designer. I had never seen a film about a designer before. ‘
Lavish Lifestyle: Siriano, 34 years old, bought the Westport, Connecticut mansion from his wooden ground in January and decided to hold his show there with COVID-19 security.
