Co-Op Game One exit allows you to play with a friend who does not own it

A Way Out, the intriguing-looking indie game from the Brothers developer and Swedish filmmaker Josef Fares, will launch on March 23, 2018, the EA publisher announced tonight during The Game Awards. Not only was the release date revealed, but EA also revealed a unique promotion where you can play without buying it if it's yours.

This is known as "free friend test," and will be available immediately at launch. You need a constant Internet connection and an EA account to use this trial version. Also, your friend must be on the same platform and you will need PS Plus or Xbox Live Gold if you play on the console.

A Way Out will be available for PS4, Xbox One and PC. A new game preview was released during The Game Awards, and can be seen in the previous box.

Set in the 70's, A Way Out focuses on the story of two convicts who are fugitives after a prison escape. After an escape chase, the transitions of the story follow these two characters as they confront their past, all while trying to stay one step ahead of the law.
