Charlton Warren leaves Florida for Georgia

Florida is now looking for a new corner coach.

Charlton Warren is leaving the Gators for a job at the Kirby Smart staff in Georgia. The Bulldogs made the announcement on Sunday night.

Warren, along with Ron English, helped Florida's defensive unit improve in 2018. UF led the nation in opponents' approval efficiency in the fourth quarter (66.25), and the Gators were second nationally in percentage of finalization of opponents in the fourth quarter (40.5).

The native of Atlanta, Georgia, came to Gainesville last year and joined Dan Mullen and his staff during their first season in the swamp. Warren also had stops in Tennessee, North Carolina and the Air Force.

Florida is also looking for a new defensive line coach after Sal Sunseri left the Gators for a job in Alabama.
