According to a death certificate issued on Monday, Chadwick Bosman was buried near his South Carolina hometown, six days after he died at his home in Los Angeles.

The record states that Bosnia died at her home on August 28 near Griffith Park in Los Angeles.

According to The Associated Press, the Black Panther star was laid to rest in Sept 3 at Welton Baptist Church Cemetery in Belton, South Carolina.

The day after Anderson was buried, a large public memorial was hosted in honor of Bosman’s life.

The immediate cause of his death was listed as multiple organ failure with the underlying cause of stomach cancer, which his family had previously said he had been diagnosed with four years earlier.

Bossman underwent surgery to remove colon cancer after his diagnosis and in March this year underwent laparoscopic surgery to remove cancer with metastasis, which is shown in the records.

The document listed Bosman’s profession as an ‘artist’ in the ‘entertainment’ industry.

Chadwick is most recently remembered for his inspirational performance as King T’Challa in the 2018 film Black Panther, but he first appeared as a powerful character in the 2016 MCU flick Captain America: Civil War.
