Carrot season shines on iOS 14 with 12 rich widgets, 25 Apple Watch complications

With the introduction of iOS 14, the highly popular Carrot Weather is a major update that brings support for the all-new home screen widget. There is also support for many complications on the Apple Watch watchOS 7 and a gallery of weather-focused gallery faces that you can download. Take a look at the rich new widgets and easy setup you can create.

Carrot Weather (version 4.16) for iOS 14 includes 5 new widget types in three sizes, for a total of 12 options. These include snark, forecast, hourly, daily and weather maps. I have been investigating the initial build of the release and they provide a really great experience.

You can use multiple carrot weather widgets on your home screen or any other app page, or even create a carrot weather smart stack to easily swipe through all 5 of the widgets.

Here is a look at some options:

And beyond just the 12 best widget options, you can customize widgets with a background or for example with a Weather Map widget, choose the layer you want to use. Keep in mind that Tier 1- 3-in-app purchases are required to unlock all widgets.

Just long press on the widget> tap Edit widget.

Don’t forget that you can create your own smart stack by adding multiple widgets (same size) and then dragging them on top of each other. In the future you can long press on a custom smart stack and tap on “Edit Stack” to render or delete widgets.

Carrot Weather is also receiving support for many complications on the Apple Watch and is making great use of the new Watch Face Sharing feature. With the latest update, you can choose severely customized weather clock faces, with a total of 25 carrot weather complications to choose from.

In the iPhone app, you will find many clean carrot weather Apple Watch faces that you can use. These include infographograph modulators, infographs, activity, and more with rich weather data. You can certainly use these as inspiration to create your own watch faces as well.

Carrot Weather for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch is a $ 4.99 download with in-app purchases from $ 0.99 / month to unlock premium features such as Apple Watch complications and advanced iOS 14 widgets.

More features and improvements with Carrot Seasons 4.16 include 10x faster radar animation, new map layers, new optional app icons, and more.

Home screen widget
Check the weather right from your home screen with my new iOS 14 widgets! There are 5 different widget types: snark, forecast, hourly, daily and weather map. Just press a widget to customize it with all kinds of different options. Plus: If you keep all the widgets in one stack, you can make all your predictions in one place on your home screen.

(Note: Similar to pricing for the complications of the Apple Watch, frequent background updates for widgets require at least one Tier 1 subscription due to the amount of weather data used throughout the day. Every hour and Daily widgets require Tier 1, while Weather Maps Widget. Tier 3. is required)

Multiple complications (Tier 1 required)
Use multiple CARROT complications to create your very own weather clock face! Choose from a huge variety of carrot complications by long pressing the watch face on your Apple Watch. (Feel like temperature from my iPhone app or add additional, completely custom complications.)

Watch Face Gallery (Tier 1 Required)
And if you’re overwhelmed by a lot of possibilities, multiple complexity support opens, then you can add a pre-built watch face to your Apple instead. Just check out the new Watch Face Gallery in the Apple Watch Customization section of my iPhone app!

Weather Map (Tier 2 required)
Track wildfires initiated by your gender reveal party with the new Wildfire Map layer. The Severe Weather Alert Map layer also has a new weather fronts layer and support for European countries. Last but certainly not least, animations now load 10x faster!
