Jared Kushner, senior White House adviser, canceled his interview with MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell as he wants to continue the historic peace deal between Israel, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Bahrain.
Kushner has killed the media circuit after the signing of the Abraham Accord as he has been primarily credited for Middle East peace talks on behalf of the Trump administration.
However, Mitchell told her audience on Wednesday that despite scheduling an earlier interview for her show days, Kushner canceled hours before she was set to appear on-air.

“We planned to include Jared Kushner, a senior White House adviser in our program today, which was booked for several days and widely publicized,” Mitchell began. “This morning, the White House informed us that Mr. Kushner’s program had been tweaked and had to be canceled. He is unfortunate. I was certainly planning to ask him about the critical, historic White House success between Israel and the two Arab countries that he helped broker. ”
NBC News’ chief foreign affairs correspondent later suggested, though short of an allegation, that Kushner may have canceled his interview with ABC News linking to Town Hall President Trump.
The canceled interview, however, followed Mitchell’s reporting of Abraham Accords on “NBC Nightly News”, which seemed to undercut foreign policy achievement.

“With pomp and circumstance, the president has been heralding the first Arab nations to recognize Israel since 1994,” Mitchell reported. “Both countries have quietly shared intelligence with Israel against Iran, a common enemy, for years.”
She continued, “But today’s agreements open doors for trade, travel and tourism. But this is not the peace of the Middle East.”
She went on to describe how Palestinians were “abandoned by their Arab neighbors” and how they were left “powerless to do anything without protest”.
Mitchell called Trump and Netanyahu, whom he referred to as “two big political leaders” by the agreement, as “big winners”.

“The president can portray himself as a peacekeeper, he is eligible for the Nobel Prize 49 days before the election,” Mitchell said in his report.
The White House did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.
