BOISE, Idaho (KIFI / KIDK) – Two local men have been appointed to new positions in the Idaho Potato Commission.
Sender Todd Cornelison and High Country Potatoes in Rexburg and producer Brett Jensen of the Idaho Falls-Hamer area were appointed for new three-year terms. Dan Nakamura of Idahoan Foods was appointed to a second term of three years.
Each year, the Potato Commission launches a new integrated marketing program to stimulate the demand for all potato products under the Idaho brand, to educate the consumer on the nutritional value of potatoes, to foster consumer and consumer loyalty to the products "Grown in Idaho" and increase the understanding and support of growers.
