California restaurant uses ‘Godfather’ quote on anti-mask billboard

This California restaurant ensures that the state facade is not mandatory.

Basilico’s Pasta e Vino, an Italian restaurant in Huntington Beach, California, recently put up a “Godfather” -themed billboard to show their opposition to the mask.

According to a photo from KTLA taken on Monday, Billboard – which uses the same font as the poster for the 1972 film – says “drop the mask, take Kanoli”.

The line is taken from a famous quote from “The Godfather”, which states: “Drop the gun, take Kanoli.”

In July, Basilico posted that message on its Instagram page for the first time.

In August, according to KTLA, the restaurant began selling T-shirts with the same message on the back.
