BRISTOL, Tenn. (AP) – The latest in the NASCAR race at Bristol Motor Speedway (all local times):

3:30 pm

Kyle Busch has won the delayed Cup Series race on a cold day and dark at the Bristol Motor Speedway.

Busch overtook Kyle Larson with five laps remaining to win his second consecutive Cup race.

It is Busch's 45th Cup victory and marks the fifth time in his career that he has won consecutive races; won last week in Texas.

It's also Busch's seventh victory at Bristol.

Larson finished in second place, while Jimmie Johnson finished third and claimed his first result in the top five of the season. Ricky Stenhouse Jr. was fourth and Alex Bowman finished fifth.

Larson led 200 of the 500 laps, but had to hold off Busch and Stenhouse after a restart with 22 laps remaining in the race.

Bubba Wallace now knows what it's like to race to the front in a Cup Series race.

Wallace overtook Busch, pole-pole, in the absence of 126 laps to lead a Cup race for the first time in his career.

It did not last long however. Busch passed Wallace a short time later on the half-mile track before a brief yellow rain flag.

Brad Keselowski has captured the second stage of the Cup Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway in what is now an official race. Keselowski also won the first stage.

NASCAR expects to complete the full 500 laps.

Keselowski beat Kyle Larson with seven laps to go in the second stage with a stroke and blow. Larson tried to chase him, but he did not have the grip of the tires to catch him.

Keselowski said of his car: "We are screaming".

The race was delayed about 35 minutes on Monday after being postponed on Sunday. after 204 laps due to rain.

The cars return to the track at Bristol Motor Speedway, and NASCAR hopes to complete the Cup Series race after another 35-minute rain delay.

The race had been set to resume at 1 pm after being postponed on Sunday. NASCAR aims to complete the entire 500-lap race.

Kyle Larson leads the race with 296 laps remaining. The drivers must complete 46 more laps to make the race official.

Larson led 74 of the 204 laps completed on Sunday before the race was postponed after a third red flag due to rain. Denny Hamlin is second, Paul Menard third and poleman Kyle Busch fourth.

Brad Keselowski won stage one. Ryan Blaney led 99 laps on Sunday before the demolition.

The race is scheduled to resume at 1 pm

The forecast calls for cloudy skies with temperatures at minus 40 degrees, but no rain.
