BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – The Patriots' defense has been unsurpbaded during their seven game winning streak. During that time … The "D" of New England has closed opposing offenses, allowing only 13 points per game.
"They are very healthy and disciplined in what they do, give them multiple looks," said Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor. "You can count on those guys being in the right place at the right time."
"I saw your last four games, you could not tell me, half of the movie you're watching may or may not be available," center Eric Wood added.
But, there is a weak weakness in the defense of the Patriots: Run defense. New England allows 4.9 yards per carry, which ranks last in the NFL.
"A bit on the tape, you'll see some guys without spaces or some guys that are not in the right coverage," said LeSean McCoy. "That has changed a bit, it seems that everyone is more comfortable, I think, with the plan, some new players have been added, but they look good."
"Whenever we play a high-powered offense, you want to stay in the field," added Wood. "We are not going to enter the game differently than we normally do."
"You must be able to hold units and accumulate points," Taylor said. "Finish (push) with sevens, of course, because his offensive side puts in a lot of points week after week."
