BTS puts emphasis on ‘Dynamite’ wide exposure

BTS always manages to outdo itself. The group first performed “Dynamite” at the MTV Video Music Awards on August 30. For that performance, the Korean band performed in front of a green screen that featured New York City and Seoul.

The performance was filled with Easter eggs for ARMY, including a license plate with the first date of BTS and signs with the logo of BTS and ARMY. With a nighttime setting and warm lighting, it appeared like a summer night with a foreshadowing of fall, a fun summer anthem being performed for a song for Autumn, marking the transition to “dynamite” , Showing the versatility of disco-pop tracks.

ARMY liked the performance of all BTS members

In addition to tweeting about the group, fans tweeted in support of individual members. ARMY Jungkook’s Curl and Jemin didn’t get enough to have another “accident” with their jacket sleeves.

“Dynamite” BTS is the first single sung entirely in English. Promotions for “Dynamite” are still on, but so far the song has broken countless records. It went on to record the most viewed video on YouTube with its 101.1 million views within its first 24 hours.

“Dynamite” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, a first for BTS. Siddhi made the band the first All-South Korean group to hit number 1 on the Hot 100. In the second week of its release, “Dynamite” ranked No. 1 on the Hot 100. While “Dynamite” dropped to No. 2 on the chart in its third week, it became Billboard’s first entry to debut at No. 49 on the Billboard Radio Songs chart.

BTS will perform “Dynamite” again at the iHeartRadio Music Festival on Sunday night at 9 pm ET.
