Britt Baker suffered a concussion during her fight in Fight for the Fallen last night.
Baker confirmed the injury while responding to a tweet from referee Aubrey Edwards about the loss of an earring while leaving the program: "He hurried to leave the place to meet a co-worker and checked it all hours of the night." The next couple is for me Ref. Aubrey "
John Thorne, owner of Absolute Intense Wrestling, tweeted after talking to Baker: "I just talked to Britt, she certainly had a concussion midway through the night last night and she has to see a doctor this week." I wanted to roast her over the wrong corner, but it seems to be pretty serious, so I guess I'll let her slide this time ".
Baker & Riho teamed up against Bea Priestley and Shoko Nakajima in the pre-show of The Fight for the Fallen. Baker continued to fight after his injury, with Nakajima and Priestley winning when Nakajima pinned Riho.
This was Baker's second game for AEW. She defeated Nyla Rose, Awesome Kong and Kylie Rae in a four-way game in Double or Nothing in May.
The next AEW event is All Out in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, on August 31.
