The University of Arizona has suspended badistant basketball coach Mark Phelps and senior ahead Keanu Pinder, News four Tucson has discovered from a number of sources.

Arizona Athletics confirmed the suspensions,  telling News four Tucson the University has suspended Phelps for 5 days with out pay.

Phelps will miss Arizona’s video games towards NAU and UMBC. Arizona Athletics additionally confirmed Pinder is suspended for the sport towards Northern Arizona Friday.

Arizona Athletics says the violation is unrelated to the continuing federal investigation and Phelps will return to his teaching duties on Wednesday, November 15.

Phelps joined Miller’s workers as an badistant coach in June 2015, and is the previous head coach of Drake University.
Pinder joined Arizona final season from Hutchinson Community College in Kansas, after coming from Australia.
