Bouncing Asian stocks as investors evaluate the impact of trade war


Stock markets in Asia recovered from the possibility of a large-scale trade war between the two largest economies in the world. The Chinese equity markets reopened after a long weekend.

The MSCI Asia Pacific Index gained 0.8 percent 172.97 from 12:16 p.m. in Hong Kong, led by gains in health actions. All major markets from Japan to South Korea won except for the Philippines.
