Bose will rename the new TWS headset to QuietComfort 700, the first promo video

It looks like the hotly-anticipated Bose Noise Canceling Earbuds 700 may actually become a part of the Quitcomfort series – Australian retailer Harvey Norman lit the gun upon publishing the promo video, revealing a new name and some details.

The previous TWS headset, the Earbuds 500, has been renamed to “Sports Earbuds”. These were expected in late 2019, but the launch was pushed back. Similarly, the earbuds 700 were already about to be out, although that plan was also being delayed.

Anyway, the Bose QuietComfort 700 video has been removed, but someone made a copy of it and uploaded it to YouTube. In the case of the bus is also pulled down, below are some frame graves.

The video shows the QC 700 TWS headset in both black and white. It claims that this headset boasts “the world’s most effective noise-canceling” technology for “crisp, clear audio and rich, deep underpinnings”. Battery life is advertised as “up to 6 hours”. The buds are sweat and weather resistant.

Given how keen the retailer is to promote the new Bose headset, the official launch cannot be far off.
