EL PASO — A U.S. Border Patrol agent from El Paso died Sunday morning from accidents sustained whereas on patrol close to Van Horn, officers with Customs and Border Protection and the Border Patrol introduced.
Rogelio Martinez, 36, was recognized because the agent who died. Martinez and his Big Bend sector badociate had been on patrol and responding to exercise close to Interstate 10 close to Van Horn, which is about 120 miles east of El Paso.
The badociate reported that they had been each injured and in want of help, in accordance with the badertion that was launched.
Responding brokers offered quick medical care and transported the brokers to a hospital.

Martinez later died from his accidents, whereas his badociate stays hospitalized in severe situation. Martinez had been a Border Patrol agent since August 2013, a spokesman mentioned.
No particulars had been launched on what occurred to the brokers.
The Border Patrol’s Special Operations Group and brokers from Customs and Border Protection’s Air and Marine Operations are looking the world for potential suspects or witnesses.
The Culberson County Sheriff’s Department, the FBI, the Office of the Inspector General and CBP’s Office of Professional Responsibility are investigating the incident.
