Thrasher made the choice following the demise of Pi Kappa Phi pledge Andrew Coffey, 20, who was discovered unresponsive after an off-campus celebration Friday. Tallahbadee Police Chief Michael DeLeo stated early indications are alcohol was concerned in Coffey’s demise.
