Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA said it is canceling its orders for 92 of Boeing Co.’s troublesome 737 MAX aircraft, threatening to increase the growing financial strain on the U.S. aircraft maker.
The European discount airline’s announcement on Monday came as Boeing’s troubled plane began a series of regulatory test flights necessary for the plane to carry passengers again after two fatal crashes. The MAX has been grounded since the second accident in March 2019.
