On Sunday morning, a body of the Susquehanna River was recovered.
Reported in the body around 8:34 am, according to the police of Manor Township.
The coroner of Lancaster County, Stephen Diamantoni, said that the body was quite decomposed and that it was clean in the water for some time.
He refused to say if the body was male or female, and said he wanted to wait until the autopsy was secure.
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday morning.
The body was found on the York County side, but the river is under the jurisdiction of the Lancaster County Coroner.
The initial call came to an area near Klines Run Park in the municipality of Lower Windsor.
The Blue Rock Fire Company, Lower Windsor and Craney Fire Department and Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission also helped in the recovery.
