It's not great
Ice cream maker Blue Bell says he is watching a now viral video of a woman licking her ice cream at a grocery store and then placing the contaminated bathtub on the shelf.
"This type of incident will not be tolerated," the company told WAFB in a statement, adding that they are working with law enforcement, retail partners and social media platforms to find the sick licker.
The images shared on Saturday show the woman trying out some ice cream flavored with Tin Roof, then replacing the lid and putting it back on the shelf while she cackles. It is not clear where the clip was filmed.
One tweet sharing the video with the subtitle "What kind of psychopathic behavior is this?!" It was shared more than 26,000 times on Monday.
"I'm upset, this should be a criminal charge," replied @OnlyGeeves.
Some fans of frozen desserts ruined the company for not having a protective seal in their tubs to keep the less sweet jokers away.
"During production, our half gallons are turned over and sent to a hardening room where the ice cream freezes on the lid creating a natural seal," responded Blue Bell. "The lids are frozen tightly to the cardboard. Any attempt to open the product must be remarkable. "
The Texas-based company said it is monitoring the situation.
