This is part of the story Holiday Gift Guide 2020, CNET’s Gifts picks up with expert advice, reviews and recommendations for the latest technological gifts for you and your family.

Black friday Deals are still underway, and they will meet directly in Cyber Monday Sell this weekend, but whatever your name for it, this is the best time of year to buy TV (or almost anything). best Buy, aim And Amazon is already leading the way with TV-heavy Black Friday sales, with smaller models priced for $ 100 and 65-inches less At least $ 250. Next up Walmart, Which is unheard of even more TV deals starting on 25 November. Discounted brands include Sony, Samsung, Visio, LG, TCL and Hisense, with everything in between. And, of course, these are all smart TV systems, many running Android TVs, Roku or Amazon Fire TV operating systems.

Our favorite TV deals are below, and we are constantly updating the list. Note that these deals are in constant flux, and this article is being regularly updated for new, better deals and expired discounts.

This slightly larger Insignia has been selling recently for $ 150, but Best Buy has cut the price by $ 10.

TCL is best known for its Roku TV, and we consider the Roku Smart TV system better than the Android TV version in this TV, but for this price you can simply buy a Roku Streaming Stick Plus, Can connect it to this TV and still come out ahead. Different from its smart we expect this 4-series TV to perform “good enough”, much like the Roku counterpart.

Although this Samsung is currently listed as part of Walmart’s November 25 sale, it is now available at Best Buy for the same price. It is not the cheapest TV in the market at this size, and we expect models like the Vizio M-series (which has local dimming) to perform better, but if you like the Samsung brand, it is a very good price. .

We haven’t reviewed this set and based on its specs, we don’t expect it to match the picture quality of the best 75-inch models, but if you prefer a bigger picture over everything else, This is the cheapest price. For 70-inch TVs, period. Like TCL below, it runs Android TV.

We have not yet reviewed Vijeo’s first OLED TV – the company has received late shipping samples due to the COVID-19 – but the Vizio TV has performed well in previous reviews and is priced lower than the LG CX-like Anything can happen. Also good to pass.

There is also a 65-inch size on sale for $ 1,500.

Compared with the frame of this list, we have reviewed the best TV ever, and this is the best price of the year. We do not expect it to go down too much this year, but even if it does, the price will not fall drastically. Read our LG CX series review.

We have not reviewed this OLED, but we expect its image quality to be similar to the LG CX (eg: Superb), and at Best Buy, the 65-inch size is currently on sale less than the CX. We’ll still take the CX, though, mainly because Sony lacks state-of-the-art gaming extras. But if it doesn’t matter to you – or you consider Sony better for some reason – it’s an excellent deal.

Best black friday coming soon

The following deals are not available yet, but they are coming soon. Patience deals with demotion.

best Buy

This is only the best deal yet we’ve seen for Black Friday 2020. Slightly smaller than the 70-inch model and very Cheap, it will sell faster after TV appears. Catch? We are not sure when it is coming into stock, so if you are interested, check the Best Buy page often.

We’ve seen 70-inch TVs come down to $ 400, but it’s still a very good price on a giant TV. This model (V705x-H1) is very similar to the V705-H3, which is currently selling for $ 660. The V-Series is Vizio’s cheapest TV for 2020, and when we didn’t review it, we expect entry-level picture quality: good enough for most people, but something like the M-series Is not good either.

The deal will be available starting online Wednesday 4 pm (7 pm ET), 25 November.

It’s technically a Black-Friday deal, but it’s good enough to include here anyway. It is a great price on a 50-inch TV, so it is expected to sell out almost immediately.

Black Friday Deals Sold Out or Expired

The deals below are mostly finished, but since they can come back at any time, we are keeping them here for now.

It is excellent above 55 inches, but if you can afford it, get a 65 inch one instead. This is the sweet spot shape for the LG CX – enough to really appreciate its stellar image quality. Read our LG CX series review.

The best TV deal in Target’s initial Black Friday sale is on another 70-inch TV that we have not reviewed. LG’s OLED set (see below) will give a much better picture but if you can’t buy a better TV, and the Hisense above doesn’t like you, it’s still a very good price.

The deal is currently out of stock online, but may be available at your local store.

Talking about TCL, this is the best price on 55 inch TV this year. It is basically the same as the 55S425 which we liked the most for half the time on that model. Like On TV above, we expect it to sell fast.

This TV is the first item listed in Walmart’s November 11 pre-Black Friday ad, so we hope it will sell out fast. The retailer’s ONN house brand is not known for its world-beating image quality, but we expect it to perform about the TCL 4-series as well (see below) and have the same great Roku operating system.
