“Friend, you don’t even have enough love to love yourself, you can’t love me.”
Billie Eilish’s new documentary The world is a little blurry fell this week, and in it, he talks about a number of personal things like fame, family and even his past life.
Now, you probably know that Billie is very secretive about her personal life. But she did show a glimpse of her previous relationship with her 24-year-old ex-boyfriend, rapper Brandon Adams, who goes by the name Q and 7: AMP, in the film.
Billie even talked about why the two broke up in 2019 and said, “I just wasn’t happy and I didn’t want the same things that he wanted and I don’t think that’s fair to him.”
“I don’t think you should be in a relationship, super excited about certain things that the other person doesn’t care less.”
“I was literally like, ‘Dude, you don’t even have enough love to love yourself, you can’t love me. And you don’t. Like, you think so. It’s what made it the hardest.”
“I didn’t find anyone else. I didn’t stop loving him. I just spent time away from him for a while and thought, ‘Wow. I’m missing a lot because I’m’ I’m worried about you all the time. ‘
Billie also shared how Q hurt her on Valentine’s Day. In the movie, someone asks if he did anything for her. “I haven’t achieved anything. And the night before, it had been so strange and distant and shit,” he said.
Billie said that Q was going on a trip with some friends. “I was like, ‘You know what? Have fun. Don’t worry about me. I’m miserable and I miss you, and I wish you would talk to me, and I don’t have anyone else to talk to.'”
Thank you, Billie, for opening up to us about such a difficult (and, unfortunately, relatable) situation. You can watch the full documentary on Apple TV +.
