History in the making! Beyoncé became the first black woman to headline the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California, on Saturday, April 14. And boy, did he?
Queen Bey kicked off her series with a great marching band and a dozen backup dancers. First appeared on a catwalk with a long coat of Egyptian-inspired Balmain before strutting to the main stage and immediately switch to a collegiate yellow hoodie, high-waist denim shorts and white boots.

Beyoncé toured a range of hits since the beginning of the show, beginning with her 2003 debut single," Crazy in Love. After a brief interlude that gave the marching band a moment to shine, Beyoncé returned with a black leather jumpsuit and matching boots. She ran through "Do not Hurt Yourself" before taking a seat in the stands and shouting "I Care", a tender moment in a high energy set.
Next, the singer played "Partition" and "Yoncé", followed by her recent collaboration with J Balvin and Willy William "My people". Ella Dutty made her way through "Baby Boy," she covered some of the Jamaican singers Dawn Penn "You Do not Love Me (No, No, No)" and then sang "Check on it" for first time in five years. Jay-Z made a surprisingly short and simple cameo to interpret the colophon of the 2006 couple, "Déjà Vu", assuring that the focus remained largely on his wife for 10 years.
For the encore, a Beyoncé told the crowd: "Thank you for allowing me to be the first black woman to head Coachella." She killed an empowering version of "Run the World (Girls)" before tackling what was arguably the biggest moment of the night. : a surprise reunion with his former bandmates Destiny & # 39; s Child Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams . The trio sent the crowd into a frenzy with three of their biggest hits: "Lose My Breath", "Say My Name" and "Soldier".

The real sister of the Grammy winner, Solange Knowles then appeared on stage to dance alongside the fun "Get Me Bodied" as Bey avoided it because of a wardrobe malfunction. The mother of Blue Ivy, 6, and twins Rumi and Sir, 10 months, closed their set of 26 songs, almost two hours, with a special message: "I am so happy to be here. I had to act in Coachella [last year] but I ended up getting pregnant, thank God! So I had time to dream, dream and dream of two beautiful souls in my womb … Thank you all for sharing this with me. enjoyed the show. "
